Hours and Closings

Thank you for your patience and support during this extraordinary time. We have missed you very much and are eager to welcome you back into our branches.

Since the Governor’s announcement in June, regarding the ability for public libraries to offer limited services to library patrons, we have been working thoughtfully and creatively to develop a plan to provide library services in the safest way possible, which began with the contactless delivery of materials on June 23rd.

We are very pleased to announce we now are ready to reopen the library branches to the public, with a hybrid service model, limited occupancy, services and hours of operation, on Monday, October 5th, 2020.

Hollowbrook will be participating in Curbside Pick-Up only. Go to the Hollowbrook Branch page for more information.

I remember that it was an especially dark night and late into October, with Halloween right around the corner. My mom’s shadow then moved along the wall as she kissed me goodnight, turned off the light, and left... View the post.

Youth librarians, educators, parents, camps, and other institutions that are involved in lifelong learning are likely familiar with indoor and outdoor paths that can be created with stickers, chalk, paint, artwork, signs, and physical structures. You may have seen some of these spring up with a flourish around your neighborhood during the quarantine. Activity and sensory paths, formal story walks and even window displays can be fun means...
