MCLS Installs DVD/VHS Drop Boxes for Patron Convenience

(posted 8/1/11)

Responding to patron feedback, the Mercer County Library System (MCLS) has provided drop boxes for patrons to return their DVD and VHS items at these four Branches:

Ewing, Hickory Corner, Hopewell, and Lawrence Headquarters.

The West Windsor Branch also has a DVD and VHS drop box provided by the Friends of the West Windsor Library.

The Branches with drop boxes were chosen to provide convenient locations throughout the MCLS borrowing area.

The drop boxes allow patrons the ability to return their DVDs and VHS tapes during the hours the library is closed. For after-hours book returns, each branch has a book-drop available to patrons.

DVDs and VHS tapes are available for a 7-day loan period and a maximum of five each of these types of audio-visual materials can be checked out by library patrons and returned to any of the nine Branches of the MCLS.
