The Twin Rivers Branch has been serving the community for almost 40 years. It has grown considerably from its storefront beginning in 1973.
Our staff is experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and eager to assist you.
We have a lot to offer:
Over 38,000 adult and children’s print materials available for circulation.
Over 1500 audiobooks Over 2300 DVDs
Over 1400 music cds
Plus several popular magazines and newspapers that circulate.
In 2011, people visited the Branch 89,011 times and 69,546 items were circulated.
We currently have 7 public PCs that provide Microsoft office suite and free internet access. Free wireless service is also available on premises as well as a PC for Word Processing only.
Our children’s programs led by our Youth Services Librarian, Nancy Demme, are quite popular. You can find programs for all ages, from infants to teens. Our programs are listed on the Mercer County Library Website and our calendar is available in the Twin Rivers Today as well as The Windsor-Hights Herald and The Journal.
We also have a variety of ongoing programs for adults: A monthly book discussion led by our Branch Manager, Rebecca Sloan, a weekly knitting group, ESL tutoring, a Writer’s Group directed by out YS Librarian, and One-on-OneTechnology Instruction, with our Reference Librarian, Amelia Rodriguez.
