2014 Adult Summer Reading Program Begins June 23

Program information for Ewing Branch:
Our "Literary Elements" Adult Summer Reading Program begins on Monday, June Monday, June 23 and runs until Friday, August 15. Participants will receive a reading log and pen, and are eligible for weekly prizes that include a tote bag, a tumbler, and a sticky notes cube. Program information for Hickory Corner Branch:
The adult summer reading program at the Hickory Corner Branch will run concurrently with the children’s and teens SRPs. The adult theme is Literary Elements. Patrons can register either online or in person at the Branch. There will be bi-weekly drawings for $25 Barnes & Noble gift cards! Check our calendar for special programs! Our Literary Elements use the themes of science fiction, science of cooking and forensic science. These will include a radio play production of The Time Machine by Radio Raconteur, DNA testing in genealogy research, preventing strokes and container gardening. On Friday afternoons, we will be showing science fiction movies such as Ender's Game and Thor. Our calendar is online here. Program information for Hightstown Branch:
The Hightstown Branch will have 7 weekly random drawings beginning July 7 and ending August 15 for donated prizes from Hightstown merchants, including The Roasting Post, Famiglia Pizzeria, Mannino’s 4 Pizza & Restaurant, Morgan’s Island Grill, Anthony’s Chicken & Grill and Hightstown Diner. Register online and log in books as you finish them to be included in the drawings.
Program information for Hopewell Branch:
Hopewell Branch will have a random drawing at the end (after August 22) from participants and give away a Kindle Paperwhite. Register online or sign up at the Branch.
Program information for Lawrence Branch:
The theme of the 2014 Adult Summer Reading Program is “Literary Elements”. Look every Monday from June 23 to August 3 for a new science-themed quiz or crossword. The three participants with the highest number of correctly answered questions for the six-week period will receive prizes.

The West Windsor Branch's 2014 Adult Summer Reading Program will run from Monday, June 23rd to August 22nd. Sign-up will be online and participants will be able to enter the books they have read in an online reading log. Participants who have logged at least one book can bring in their logs to the West Windsor Branch reference desk to get a free prize book. Also, participants who have logged at least one book will be eligible for a drawing at the end of the program to win one of three Barnes & Noble gift certificates.
